The Judge’s Decision

Festag 7th Pflugzeit IC 2513

Festival Court, The Shaffenfest, Bögenhafen.
Honourable Councillor Judge Heinz Richter, Magistrate of the Court presiding.

Party, the first: Doctor Malthusius, owner of Doctor Malthusius’ Zoocopeia.

Party, the second: The following named citizens of the Empire.

  • Gregory Botman
  • Jeremy Vanguard
  • Luther von Nuln
  • Montgomery Stoutbarrel

Party, the third: The Ghastly Three-Legged Goblin of the Grissenwald. A rare specimen from the zoo of the first party.

It was brought before His Honour, Judge Richter that the third party, belonging to the first party, has repeatedly attempted to escape from said first party, and after many attempts appears currently to be located in the sewer system beneath our great town, intention unknown.

During a previous attempt of the third party to escape the first party, the second party have shown considerable courage and expertise in capturing said third party, thus protecting the citizens of Bögenhafen from exposure to the possibility of considerable harm. An act for which we are graciously beholden.

It is the opinion of this Magistrate that the third party, if left untended, may become a menace to the citizens of this fine town. Especially during such an important festival as the Schaffenfest, and so the matter must be resolved with the utmost urgency and discretion.

The first party has agreed to remunerate the second party the amount of four Imperial Crowns for the return of the third party into their possession.

Judge Richter has ruled this be acceptable, though is unconcerned as to the vitality of said third party on its return to said first party.

The second party are to return to the court tomorrow with evidence of the procurement of the third party at which point the first party will be instructed to pay their outstanding debt.
