Character Journals

Before each session we will choose a player. After the session ends it is up to that player to write an in-character journal entry about anything significant that happened or any discoveries that were made. This is to help any absent players stay up to date and keep the group focussed on their progress.

Increasing Non-Career Skills with XP

Each skill gets an additional stunt:

Spend one success to allow you to increase this Non-Career skill using XP.

This means you need to succeed and have at least one spare success before you can progress in a Non-Career skill.

Starting Gear

Normally your character’s starting gear would come from their career. Due to the way this scenario starts you won’t get any of that gear. The only supplies you have are the ones you manage to scavenge as you progress.

Feeding the Survivors

Any character from the Character List that is still alive, but not involved in the current encounter, is classed as a survivor.

Survivors need to be fed. Normally PCs roll 1d6 for food and water at set intervals, if you roll a 1 your supply decreases. To simplify this we will divide the number of survivors by 6 and the supply of food and water will decrease by the result.

If you don’t have enough supplies don’t expect the survivors to be happy about it!
